Understand FighterLog
Privacy and publishing
Understand who can see each record and what changes when you save, publish or withdraw content.
The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.
Before sharing a record, check its type, status and recipients. Published does not mean published to the open web: each record has an authorized audience within the club. Saving, publishing and deleting are different actions. App labels remain in Spanish to match the current interface.
Athlete feedback
Feedback belongs to the athlete who writes it. Only that athlete can edit it or decide whether to share it. Coaches, observers and administrators cannot read feedback in Borrador or Privado.
Swipe to see all columns.
| App status | Who can read it | How it gets there |
|---|---|---|
| Borrador (draft) | Only the athlete who owns it. | Save a new record or Retirar published feedback. |
| Privado (private) | Only the athlete who owns it. | Mantener privado on a draft containing text. |
| Publicado (published) | Its athlete owner, administrators and coaches or observers assigned to follow the athlete. | Publicar from Borrador or Privado. |
Publicar is also identified as Publicar al coach, but its audience is not limited to one trainer: it includes authorized staff according to current club assignments. Other athletes cannot read it.
To stop sharing, open the actions, choose Retirar and confirm Retirar feedback. It returns to Borrador. The Privado status does not prevent later editing or publication.
A coach cannot use private feedback as a guidance source. See athlete feedback for the full workflow.
Coach notes
A coach's saved notes are private to their author. A coach can save them without an athlete recipient and choose one or more athletes only when deciding to publish them.
Swipe to see all columns.
| App status | Who can read it | How it gets there |
|---|---|---|
| Borrador | Only its author. | Guardar a new note or return a published note to draft. |
| Publicada | Athlete recipients and the authorized audience following them. | Publicar from Borrador with content and at least one athlete recipient. |
To review a published note without sharing changes while you work, return it to Borrador. It stops being available to its recipients and becomes private to its author again. This does not erase what they have already read.
Every recipient of a published note receives the same text. Selecting recipients does not hide paragraphs or names in its body. Use separate notes when information about one person should not be shared with the group. See coach notes for the full flow.
Guidance and plans
Guidance: the author reviews before sharing
Each guidance record belongs to its author, whether coach or administrator. It is not an internal document editable by any staff member. Another coach or administrator does not gain access simply by following the same athlete; observers also have no Orientaciones view.
The athlete recipient sees only guidance published for them. They do not receive the draft, the coach's private instructions or direct access to private notes used as sources.
The final text can still reproduce information from those notes. Before publishing, review what it says even though the sources are not visible to the athlete. For example, a private hypothesis may need different wording before becoming a shared instruction.
AI uses the source groups selected for that athlete and period: published feedback, published plans, and the author's private notes or published notes within their scope. It does not open private athlete feedback or turn a draft into a publication. See guidance for selection, review and states.
Plans: a shared document for their recipients
Athletes read published plans addressed to them. Observers read published plans for their assigned athletes. Coaches and administrators work with plans within their permissions, even when someone else created them.
A plan with several recipients shares the same content. Check athletes and text before publishing, just as with a note. Drafts and withdrawn plans are not shown to athletes or observers. See plans.
What editing, withdrawing or deleting changes
Editing does not always hide the content
Swipe to see all columns.
| Record | If already published |
|---|---|
| Feedback | Saving changes keeps it Publicado. Only its athlete can change it. |
| Coach note | Return it to Borrador before editing if you do not want to share changes while reviewing. |
| Plan | Saving changes preserves publication. |
| Guidance | Requires Restaurar como borrador before editing; hidden from the athlete until published again. |
Text applied from audio preserves the status of feedback and plans. For a published note, return it to Borrador before editing or sending audio if you want to review the result privately.
Withdrawing is not deleting
Withdrawing removes current shared reading of feedback or a plan, but cannot undo what someone has already read. It also does not automatically rewrite guidance previously created from that source. Review separately any guidance wording that needs correcting.
Notes and plans allow draft deletion after confirmation. Eliminar borrador during audio processing cancels that work and may delete the new record created for the recording. Do not confuse these actions with pausing or generally deleting history. Saved feedback has no general delete button.
Club access and history
Disabling access or offboarding someone from the pilot does not mean their shared history is deleted. Administrators manage access and assignments; see club administration. This guide explains audiences within the app; legal privacy information and terms are in the documents linked during access activation.
If visibility is not what you expected
- An athlete cannot see a note or plan: check that it is published and they are a recipient. A note in Borrador is visible only to its author.
- Staff cannot see feedback: it may still be Borrador or Privado, may have been withdrawn or may lack the relevant assignment. Staff cannot change its privacy.
- I cannot publish: check content, status, pending processing and permissions. Available actions depend on all of these.
- I cannot edit a visible document: it may include recipients outside your scope or, for guidance, belong to another author.
- I shared something by mistake: return a note to Borrador or withdraw feedback or a plan promptly, then review what needs correcting. These actions cannot guarantee nobody has read it.
- I have a question about my data: write to contact@fighterlog.com. Describe the issue without sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive details.
