Profile and preferences

Your profile identifies you to the people you work with. Preferences adapt reading and, for coaches or administrators, instructions for future analyses. Open the account menu and choose Configuración (settings) to access Perfil (profile), Apariencia (appearance) and, when your role allows it, Personalización (personalization). The pilot app currently uses Spanish labels.

Change your display name

1. In Configuración → Perfil, edit Nombre visible (display name).
2. Choose Guardar nombre (save name).
3. Check for Nombre visible actualizado. (display name updated).

The name cannot be empty. Cancelar (cancel) restores the saved name if you have not confirmed your change. This setting changes how you appear in the spaces where you participate; it does not change your sign-in email, role or coaching assignments.

Each person maintains their own name and photo. An athlete's competitive category is a separate field: an authorized coach or administrator sets it using the club's categories. See Club administration.

Add, crop or remove your photo

A photo is optional. It appears with your identity only where the viewer is allowed to see your name; adding one does not turn your profile into a public page.

1. In Perfil, choose Editar (edit) on the photo, labelled Editar foto de perfil (edit profile photo).
2. Select a JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 5 MB.
3. Drag the image to frame it. Use Aumentar zoom or Reducir zoom (zoom in or out) to adjust the crop.
4. Choose Guardar (save). The editor closes, and the new photo may take a little time to appear while it is prepared.

Cancelar edición de foto (cancel photo editing) discards the crop before saving. To remove an existing photo, choose Borrar foto (delete photo) and confirm. If no photo is published yet and an upload is pending, Cancelar carga (cancel upload) may appear.

If a replacement upload fails, the previous photo remains. Check the outcome before trying again. Removing your photo does not delete your account, name or history.

Adjust your workspace

Appearance

In Configuración → Apariencia, you can change:

• Modo (mode): Claro, Oscuro or Sistema (light, dark or system). The last option follows your device preference.
• Tamaño de fuente (font size): adjusts reading and editing. Restablecer tamaño de fuente resets it to the default for that screen type.
• Color de acento (accent color): changes the color of actions and selections; state meanings stay the same.
• Anchura predeterminada del panel (default panel width): sets the initial space for details in two-panel views. Moving the divider while working adjusts the current session; this preference sets the value for future openings.

These changes are saved as account preferences. If saving fails, a change may remain visible only in the current session: use Reintentar (retry) to retain it. Under Tema (theme), Actual (current) is the available option; disabled buttons do not provide usable styles yet.

Changing the language of this wiki does not change the pilot app's language; its interface remains in Spanish.

Favorites in Atletas

Coaches, observers and administrators can mark authorized athletes as favorites and find them under Favoritos (favorites) in Atletas (athletes). This is a personal selection: it does not change other users' favorites or create a coaching assignment. If you lose access to someone, a previous favorite does not preserve that permission.

Use favorites for the people you regularly consult. Coach and observer assignments are managed separately by the club.

Save instructions for your analyses

This option is available to coaches and administrators. In Configuración → Personalización → Instrucciones personalizadas (custom instructions), describe how you want analyses prepared and choose Guardar. On mobile, first tap the text or preview to open the editor. Follow the displayed character count and limit.

For example: “Use short sentences. Separate observations from suggestions for the next session. Say when the available history is insufficient for a conclusion.” These instructions shape future generations; they do not rewrite existing guidance or replace your review.

Instructions have three distinct locations:

• Instrucciones personalizadas (custom instructions): your general working preferences.
• Instrucciones para el análisis (analysis instructions), in the athlete's detail: private context for your analyses of that person.
• Instrucciones específicas (opcional) (specific instructions, optional), when generating guidance: instructions for that particular generation.

These instructions are not a published note and do not expand the sources you can access. An athlete's private feedback remains excluded from analysis. See Guidance to select sources, generate, review and publish.

To dictate content and ask for headings, lists or tables in a record, use the editor's own audio feature. Audio and Writing explain that workflow; you do not need to change general instructions before every recording.

If a change does not appear

• Your name will not save: check it is not empty and confirm with Guardar nombre. Changing the field without saving does not update the profile.
• The image is rejected: check its format and size. If it cannot be opened, try a different compatible file.
• The old photo remains: wait for preparation to finish, check your profile again and see whether the upload completed before sending it again.
• Someone else cannot see your photo: they must have authorized access to your identity. Do not share the image address as though it were a public photo.
• A preference disappears when you return: if saving previously failed, retry from Apariencia.
• Personalización is missing: check your role; it is unavailable to athletes and observers.
• Instructions cannot be saved: wait for loading, use Reintentar if offered and check the length limit. Text merely entered in the editor is not yet saved.
