Training and follow-up

Create and publish guidance

Choose authorized evidence, prepare a draft and review the guidance before sharing it with the athlete.

Coaches and administrators; reading for athletes

The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.

Guidance brings together a coach's instructions for an athlete and a period. It helps review recurring observations, assess changes and decide what to revisit in upcoming training. You can write it directly or request an AI draft; its author remains responsible for reviewing and sharing it. The application currently uses Spanish labels, retained in this guide.

Choose the athlete and period

As a coach with access to the athlete, or as an administrator, open Orientaciones and select Crear orientación. Choose Atleta and Periodo de la orientación. Each guidance record is addressed to one person.

Choose a meaningful interval for the question you want to review: several sessions on the same topic, a week or a longer period. The interval limits the information that generation can use.

Write without AI

Enter the text in Orientación and select Guardar. This saves your own draft, invisible to the athlete. Use the Markdown editor to separate observations, instructions and open questions.

Authorship and access

Each guidance record belongs to its creator. Only that author can manage it, while they retain permission for the athlete. Another coach or administrator does not gain access to the draft by holding the same role. Observers do not have access to guidance. The recipient athlete reads only guidance that its author has published for them.

This follows the same rule as private coach notes: authorship limits access. See Roles and permissions.

Check the sources

To prepare an AI draft, leave the body empty and select Generar con IA. The app checks the authorized information available for that athlete and period. Under Fuentes que utilizará el borrador, choose the source groups to use:

Swipe to see all columns.

Group Included Excluded
Feedback de la atleta Already saved text from completed feedback published to the coach, dated within the period. Private, draft or empty feedback; new audio drafts that do not yet have completed text.
Planes publicados Published plans addressed to the athlete whose dates overlap the chosen period partly or completely. Draft or withdrawn plans, or plans for other athletes.
Private coach notes Notes saved by this guidance author, dated within the period. Private notes from another author.
Notas publicadas a la atleta Notes published to that athlete, dated within the period. Notes addressed only to other people.

Groups with data are selected initially. Deselect any you do not want to include; at least one group with data must remain selected. You select source groups, not individual documents. The counts help you check what material will be used.

If audio is updating feedback that already had published text, that saved text remains available and can be used as a source while the new result is pending. A pending update does not withdraw published content. To analyse the new audio's result, wait for it to finish and check the text before generating guidance.

A private note from the author can contribute without showing its original document to the athlete. This does not mean that everything in it should be disclosed in the result: guidance may include information from those notes, so review the wording before publishing.

AI does not access the athlete's private feedback or indiscriminately scan their entire history. Sources are limited to the athlete, dates and authorized groups you select. Ver actividad del periodo and Ver planes del periodo let you return to the relevant context from the guidance record.

Give useful instructions

Three places let you guide the writing:

Swipe to see all columns.

Location Purpose
Personalización → Instrucciones personalizadas Your general preferences for tone, structure and working style.
Athlete detail → Instrucciones para el análisis Private context you want to consider in future analyses of that athlete.
Instrucciones específicas (opcional) The focus of the generation you are preparing now.

Fictional example: “Compare the observations about balance across the two weeks. Distinguish what the athlete reports from what I observed. If a difficulty repeats, identify the sessions; if evidence is missing, say so. End with two questions we can review together.”

Asking for patterns does not guarantee enough evidence exists to find them. Instructions can change focus or presentation; they do not expand permissions or replace sources. Avoid asking for conclusions the records cannot support. Personal settings are explained in Profile and preferences.

Generate and review the draft

  1. Check the athlete, period, selected groups and instructions.
  2. Select Generar borrador. The guidance appears as Pendiente while it is being prepared.
  3. When finished, it becomes Borrador. Open the result and select Editar orientación.
  4. Check the cited facts, whether observations and interpretations are distinguished, and whether the instructions reflect your judgment and are useful for that athlete.
  5. Correct or remove anything you cannot support, then select Guardar.

Swipe to see all columns.

Visible status Meaning Next step
Pendiente Generation is running; there is no completed draft yet. Wait, or refresh the status if a loading error appears.
Error Generation could not finish. Read the reason and use Reintentar generación when appropriate, or delete the attempt.
Borrador Editable manual or generated text that the athlete cannot see yet. Review, save and decide whether to publish.
Publicado The recipient athlete can read the final text. Restore it to a draft before editing.

Completing generation does not publish guidance. It also does not mean the coach has validated the text.

If you have already written text in a new guidance record, Generar con IA is disabled. Save that text if you want to keep it; do not clear it to generate without deciding what to do with it. Generation prepares a new guidance record; review an existing draft by editing its text directly.

Publish when ready

From the reviewed draft, select Publicar. The athlete can read it under Orientaciones, with its period and author, but cannot edit it. Your private instructions and internal documents do not become visible through publication.

Read the entire final text: sharing guidance may communicate information from sources without sharing their original documents. Publish only what you intend to communicate to the athlete.

Correct or stop sharing

Open the published guidance's actions and select Restaurar como borrador. It becomes unavailable to the athlete. You can now edit, save and publish again. This differs from directly editing a published plan: guidance cannot be edited while published.

Later changes to a plan, note or feedback do not automatically rewrite guidance already prepared. Review the result again if its context changes. Stopping publication also does not erase what the athlete has already read.

Delete guidance

You can delete a draft or a failed generation attempt. Confirm Eliminar orientación only if you want it to disappear permanently. Restore published guidance to a draft before deleting it.

During generation, Eliminar borrador cancels the work and releases its reservation before deleting the guidance. It is not a pause that you can resume later.

If you cannot generate or publish

  • No authorized sources: check dates, recipient and source statuses. Choose another period or write guidance manually.
  • Sources could not be checked: use Reintentar; a loading error does not mean there is no data.
  • Generation failed: read the reason before selecting Reintentar generación. If a temporary limit applies, you can prepare guidance manually.
  • Status cannot be loaded: select Actualizar estado. Do not start another generation just because the connection was lost.
  • You cannot publish: check that it contains text and is a Borrador, rather than pending or failed.
  • You cannot edit or cannot find another coach's guidance: check authorship. Access to an athlete does not grant access to other authors' guidance.
  • Another session changed it: reopen the guidance and review the current version before repeating an action.
