Coach notes
Create notes for one or more athletes and distinguish drafts, internal notes and published notes.
The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.
A coach note captures what you observed in a session: a technical correction, a response to an exercise or something to check later. You can save it as private work or publish it for the athletes it concerns. App labels below remain in Spanish to match the current interface.
What a note is for
A note describes one specific session; a plan gives context to a period and guidance brings together a review of the history. You do not need to turn every observation into guidance.
Coaches and administrators can create notes. Only its author can read and edit a saved note. Athletes and observers read only notes published for their scope.
Create a note with text or voice
- In Actividad, select Crear nota.
- Set the Fecha de sesión. Use the date of the training it refers to, even if you write it later.
- Add an optional Título de la nota to make it easier to find and write the Contenido de la nota.
- Select Guardar. The note remains a Borrador and is private to its author.
- When you want to share it, select one or more Atletas, review the content and use Publicar.
What to write
Separate what you saw, the correction you gave and what you want to observe next. For example: “In the last sets, they started bringing their feet together on the exit. I asked them to shorten the first step. In the next session I want to check whether they keep it at a higher pace.”
Use headings, lists and tables to make the record easy to revisit. The writing guide explains the editor and preview; opening preview does not save changes.
Dictate a note
Select Grabar audio, allow microphone access, dictate and use Enviar audio when finished. You can include formatting instructions in the recording: “Separate the corrections into a list and put the exercises in a table.”
A note recording can be up to ten minutes. AI prepares the text and applies it to the record; check names, facts, exercises and formatting. You do not need a word-for-word transcript, and should not assume the composition is always accurate. See audio for controls, allowance and error recovery.
Choose recipients carefully
You do not need to select an athlete to save a private note. When publishing it, choose one or more athletes. Every recipient receives the same content. If part of it concerns only one person or should not be shared with the group, create separate notes.
Before publishing, check both the selected athletes and any names or details written in the body. The recipient control does not hide parts of the note's text.
To change who receives a published note, return it to Borrador, review recipients and publish again. Access to an athlete does not grant access to another coach's private notes.
States and transitions
Swipe to see all columns.
| App status | What it means | What you can do next |
|---|---|---|
| Borrador | A saved note, private to its author. Athletes, observers, other coaches and administrators cannot read it. | Edit, Guardar, add recipients to Publicar, or Eliminar borrador. |
| Publicada | Readable by athlete recipients and the authorized audience following them. | Return to Borrador to stop sharing, review or edit; then Publicar again. |
Guardar keeps a draft and Publicar requires content and at least one athlete recipient. Publishing does not make the note public on the open web.
Audio status
Procesando audio and Audio fallido describe the audio job, not a new audience. Some actions are unavailable during processing. Once it finishes, review the content and save or publish as appropriate.
Edit, stop sharing or delete
Edit a published note
To review changes without sharing them as you work, return it to Borrador first. Review the text, save and publish again when ready. Changing recipients also changes who will receive the next publication; it cannot undo what someone has already read.
Return to draft
Return a published note to Borrador to stop sharing it. It becomes private to its author again. This does not erase what recipients have already read or automatically rewrite guidance prepared from that publication.
Delete a draft
Eliminar borrador requires confirmation and deletes the private note. It is not an archive action. If it appears during audio processing, it cancels that work and may delete the new record created for the recording. Do not use it as a pause.
If something goes wrong
- Publicar is disabled: add content, select at least one athlete and make sure audio is not processing.
- I cannot change athletes: return the note to Borrador and check your permission for every recipient.
- I cannot find a private note: only its author can read it. Check that you are in the correct club and profile.
- The note changed after I opened it: copy any changes you need, close and reopen it before saving. Local text recovery after closing the tab or session is not guaranteed.
- Audio fails or my allowance runs out: you can continue typing. If upload did not finish and the editor still retains the recording, retry without recording again.
- The athlete cannot find the note: check that they are a recipient and that it is Publicada.
