Understand FighterLog

Getting started with FighterLog

Complete your first sign-in to the pilot and find a useful first action for your role.

Athletes, coaches and administrators

The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.

FighterLog preserves what happens between training sessions: the athlete's reflection, the coach's observations and instructions for continued work. Start with a short record and learn how to choose its audience. The pilot app is currently in Spanish; this English guide keeps the actual Spanish control labels.

Before signing in

Your club needs to add you

Access to the pilot is closed. A club administrator adds known people using their email and role. The public website does not offer an open registration form.

You will receive a welcome email to set your password. Use the address you gave the club and check your spam folder. If the message does not arrive, ask the administrator to check the account before trying a different address.

You can read this wiki and the legal documents without signing in. Access to the help website does not create an app account.

Your role determines your workspace

Participants can be Atleta (athlete), Coach, Observador (observer) or Administrador (administrator). Club administration and coaching assignments determine which athletes and records you can access. The directory is not a public list of all participants. See the roles guide for the permissions of each role.

Complete your first sign-in

  1. Open the FighterLog app and choose Iniciar sesión (sign in) with the account added by your club.
  2. On Completa tu acceso (complete your access), enter your Nombre visible (display name). Use the name by which you want to be identified in the spaces where you participate.
  3. Read the Terms of use, in Spanish and Privacy information, in Spanish.
  4. Select He leído y acepto los Términos de uso. (I have read and accept the terms) and He leído la Información de privacidad. (I have read the privacy information).
  5. Choose Aceptar y continuar (accept and continue). After activation, the workspace for your role opens.

Your name and both confirmations are required. If the app later asks you to review a new version of the documents, complete that review before continuing.

You can change your name and add a photo under Configuración → Perfil (settings → profile). Your display name does not change your sign-in email or role.

Take a first useful step

If you are an athlete

Open Actividad (activity) and choose Crear registro de actividad (create an activity record). Select Fecha del entrenamiento (training date), write in Tu feedback (your feedback) and choose Guardar (save). The title is optional. For example: “I rushed my exit from the corner today. In the last round I waited a little longer and got out better.”

A new record stays a draft. You can review it, keep it private or publish it to authorized staff. The feedback guide explains each state. Plans and notes or guidance published for you by your coach are read separately from your own publishing decisions.

If you are a coach

Check Atletas (athletes) for the people you follow. In Actividad, choose Crear nota (create a note), select its date, write your observation and save. You can add recipients and publish later; see the notes guide.

You can create a plan to give a period context. Once useful history exists, guidance helps you prepare and review conclusions for an athlete using authorized sources from the period.

If you are an observer

Read published activity and plans for your assigned athletes. Athlete feedback appears after its author publishes it to staff; drafts and private feedback do not appear. Your participation is read-only: you cannot edit their texts, write notes or generate guidance.

If you are an administrator

Open Gestión de club (club management) to add people, review coach and observer assignments and maintain categories. Check that each athlete has appropriate support. Administration permissions do not allow you to read an athlete's private feedback or edit feedback on their behalf.

Decide who will see the result

Saving, publishing and processing audio are different decisions. Saving new feedback keeps a private draft. Publishing it lets the authorized audience read it. Audio processing prepares text; it is not a decision to expand its audience.

A coach's saved note is private to its author. It is shared with athlete recipients and their authorized audience only when published.

In this help site, “published” means shared inside the app with authorized people, not published on the internet. Before sharing, see Privacy and publishing.

If you cannot continue

  • No welcome email or access is not activated: ask the administrator to check your address, provisioning state and club participation.
  • First sign-in cannot finish: complete your display name and both confirmations. If legal documents have not loaded, wait or retry before accepting.
  • Your session expired: use Iniciar sesión again. If the browser cannot retain the session, check its storage permissions.
  • Activation reports insufficient audio reserve: club administration needs to review the reserve; creating the account again will not resolve it.
  • An athlete, section or action is missing: check your role and assignments. If you previously had access, also check activity filters.
  • You use a shared device: when finished, open the account menu and choose Cerrar sesión (sign out).

Start with your club administrator for access problems. To contact the project, write to contact@fighterlog.com without including passwords or private training notes.
