Training and follow-up
Give training context with a plan
Create a plan for one or more athletes and use it as context for activity during that period.
The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.
A plan brings together instructions for a period: what to practise, why, and what to look out for. An authorized coach or administrator prepares it for one or more athletes. Feedback and notes then help compare the intention with what happened in training. The application currently uses Spanish labels, retained in this guide.
Create the plan
- Open Planes and select Crear plan.
- Add an optional title that helps you recognize it, such as “Footwork and balance — week two”.
- Set the start and end dates in Periodo del plan. They can be the same for a one-day plan.
- Under Atletas, select one or more recipients you have permission to work with.
- Write in Contenido del plan or record an audio.
- Select Guardar to save a draft.
What to include
There is no compulsory template. A plan can be brief or as detailed as you want: an objective, the signals you want to watch for, the proposed exercises, the intended intensity and what you want to review afterwards. Use headings, lists and tables when they help.
Fictional example: “This week we will work on moving out after the jab. Start with three rounds at a gentle pace, then two with a partner. Notice whether you cross your feet when moving out the other way. Write down one situation afterwards.”
The plan provides context; it does not record that the athlete has trained or completed an exercise. Use Activity to describe what happened.
Who can prepare it
Coaches need access to the recipient athletes. Administrators can act within their club. A shared plan does not belong exclusively to its author: another authorized coach can manage it if they have permission for all its recipients. Athletes and observers can read it, but cannot edit it. See Roles and permissions.
Review and publish
Check the dates, content and every recipient. From the draft, select Publicar. A title alone is not enough: the plan needs body content.
Swipe to see all columns.
| Status | Meaning | Who can read it |
|---|---|---|
| Borrador | Saved but not yet shared with athletes. | Coaches and administrators within their authorized scope. |
| Publicado | Shared with its recipients. | Recipient athletes and authorized staff; observers read only published plans for their assigned athletes. |
| Retirado | Retained in history but no longer available as a published plan to athletes and observers. | Authorized coaches and administrators. |
Activos filters published plans whose period includes today; it is not a fourth status. A published plan from a previous week is not automatically withdrawn when its period ends.
All recipients of a multi-athlete plan receive the same content. Before publishing, move individual observations that should not be shared with the group into notes addressed to the appropriate person.
Connect the plan with activity
As an athlete, open Planes to read the plans published for you. After training, create your feedback using the date of that session.
The connection uses the recipient and date: the plan must include the athlete and its period must cover the activity date. You do not need to copy the plan into your feedback. Activity actions may include Ver plan; if several plans apply, you can choose by title.
As a coach, the plan's actions include Ver actividad del periodo to view the athlete's activity for those dates. Compare observations and feedback with the original instructions: the plan records the intention, while activity records what happened.
Guidance drafts can use Planes publicados as a source group. The athlete must be a recipient, and the plan's period must overlap the guidance period at least partly. Draft and withdrawn plans are excluded.
Change or withdraw a plan
Edit a published plan
Open the plan, select Editar, make the changes and select Guardar. It stays published: the updated content becomes available to its audience without another publication step. Changing recipients also changes who can read it.
Withdraw it first if you need to work without showing your changes. For a multi-athlete plan, you need permission for all affected recipients to modify it; being able to read a plan does not necessarily mean you can edit it.
Withdraw and restore
- Open the plan's actions and select Retirar.
- Confirm Retirar plan. The record is kept but is no longer published.
- To resume work, find it under Retirados and select Restaurar como borrador.
- Review dates, recipients and content; save and publish again when ready.
Withdrawal does not undo what someone has already read. It also does not rewrite guidance previously prepared using that plan.
Delete
Eliminar borrador permanently deletes a draft plan. For a published plan, first withdraw it and restore it as a draft. If audio is processing, read the confirmation: this action cancels that processing and may delete the initial draft; an audio update keeps the previous content. See Cancelling audio.
If you cannot find the expected plan
- It is missing: check the selected athlete, dates, search and Borradores, Publicados, Activos or Retirados filters.
- It is missing from activity: check that it is published, includes the athlete and covers the record's training date.
- Several plans apply: check their titles and periods. More than one plan can apply; one does not automatically replace another.
- You cannot publish: add content and check that it is a draft. Restore a withdrawn plan first.
- You cannot edit: check recipients, status and whether audio is processing. If another session is editing the plan, wait for it to finish.
- Editing access has expired: keep the text you can see and follow the instruction to save again or reopen the editor. An error means you should not assume your changes were saved.
- An athlete is missing or you have lost access: ask club administration to check assignments and access. Do not change recipients to work around a missing permission.
