Turn audio into text
Record, send and review voice notes; recover from errors and understand your audio allowance.
The app is in Spanish. Spanish button names are kept in these guides so you can find them in the app.
Athletes can dictate their feedback; authorized coaches and administrators can dictate notes or plans. Speak as you would to an assistant: explain both the content and how to organize it. FighterLog prepares editable text for you to review before using or sharing it. The application currently uses Spanish labels, retained below.
Record and send
- Open the record's editor. Complete its date or period and, where appropriate, the recipient athletes.
- Select Grabar audio and allow microphone access in your browser.
- Dictate clearly. Include writing and formatting instructions in the same recording if useful.
- Use Pausar grabación and Continuar grabación if your browser supports them. Other browsers show Detener y revisar.
- Select Enviar audio when finished, or Descartar grabación to discard it.
Request formatting with your voice
You do not have to pronounce Markdown syntax. You can ask for a heading, a list of observations or a table of exercises. Provide the facts that should appear too: the assistant should not fill in details you have not dictated.
Fictional Spanish dictation for the current pilot: «Título: salida después del jab.
This asks for a title, two observations in a list, and an exercise/focus table. When reviewing, check that the table preserves the meaning and that instructions addressed to the assistant have not become part of the note. Saying “publish this” in a recording does not replace the app's publication action.
Recording limits
Swipe to see all columns.
| Content | Maximum duration |
|---|---|
| Athlete feedback | 5 minutes |
| Coach note | 10 minutes |
| Plan | 10 minutes |
The maximum size is 25 MB per audio. The editor shows the available recording duration. Audio stays on your device until sent; do not rely on recovering it if you close or reload the tab before sending.
Review the resulting text
After sending, wait for transcription and composition to finish. Procesando describes work on the audio; it does not mean Publicado. Feedback can remain draft or private after processing finishes. Publication states are explained in the feedback, notes and plans guides.
The result is applied directly to the record's content. There is no separate proposal-acceptance step. Open the text, check names, dates, quantities and meaning, then correct it using the editing action and Guardar. Use the preview to check headings, lists and tables.
The recorder does not include an audio player for listening before sending. Detener y revisar lets you check the recording's state; review the content in the resulting text.
When text already exists
Audio may change or replace an existing record's content; do not assume it will only append a paragraph. Review the entire result. If you need to preserve an exact phrase before making a change, keep a separate copy.
Published feedback or a plan remains published when audio updates its text. While new audio is pending, previous text remains published; in feedback, it can still be used as a guidance source. To review a published note without showing changes, return it to Borrador first. Sending audio does not automatically make published content private.
Some editing or publication actions are disabled while audio is processing to prevent simultaneous changes. Wait for the result or cancel using the available actions.
Discard or cancel according to the state
Before sending
Descartar grabación removes the local recording so you can start again. It does not start composition. Closing the editor or tab may lose audio that you have not yet sent.
After sending
While processing, the record's actions may offer Eliminar borrador. Read the confirmation before continuing:
- If the audio was creating a new record, processing is cancelled and that initial draft is deleted.
- If it was updating an existing record, the update is cancelled and previous content is kept.
- The reservation for the cancelled work is released.
Cancellation is not a pause. If processing has already finished, refresh the status and check what was saved before taking another action. Do not use Eliminar borrador to discard just one sentence: edit the text instead.
Understand your allowance
The editor shows available audios, the period's limit, the reset date and work en proceso. The allowance counts audios, not minutes: a shorter recording does not count as a fraction of an audio.
Swipe to see all columns.
| Information | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Remaining audios | What is available after your allocation, completed work and reservations are taken into account. |
| Limit | Your allocation for the period. |
| En proceso | Operations that hold a reservation while they finish. |
| Reset date | The renewal time shown in the app. |
If you reach the limit, you can continue writing manually. Administration can review your allocation within the club's available reserve; this does not mean they can increase the total without limit. See Club administration.
If the allowance cannot load or another service limit appears, read the message before retrying. Having available audios does not guarantee an operation can start when another error applies.
Recover from an error
- Microphone blocked: enable permission in your browser or system and select Reintentar grabación. Also check which microphone is selected.
- No microphone or unsupported recording: type the content; you can complete the record without audio.
- Audio too long or too large: record a shorter version. A useful note does not need to fill the available duration.
- Upload failed: while the recording remains in the editor, you can resend without recording again. Avoid closing the editor before recovering it.
- Processing failed: previous content is preserved. A new record may remain as a draft without the expected text. Write manually or send another audio when permitted.
- Result could not be loaded: select Actualizar estado. A connection error does not prove processing failed.
- Incorrect text or unexpected formatting: correct it in the editor. Composition assists your writing; it does not validate what happened in training.
If the problem persists, tell administration which action failed and the displayed message. You do not need to share the recording or private content to explain an access or allowance error.
